UMB GHANA TERTIARY AWARDS 2017 COMING SOON...
Organizers Of The Biggest Annual Students Festival awards Celebration In Ghana, Youth Web Group, Presents The 4th Edition of The UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards 2017
“I was extremely happy when I was informed I had been nominated for male model of the year at this year's Ghana tertiary awards.
I saw this as an opportunity to show the world what I can offer and trust me it wasn't going to be an easy task, looking at the competitors in my category meaning I needed to put in more effort.
That day we all were waiting for came and the auditorium was massively packed with people of which I was surprised then I started feeling nervous.
The moment of truth came who wins the male model of the year?? I could hear people mention names of the other nominees of course I heard my name too but the tension was too much till I heard WESLEY KESSE and as I walked to the stage for my award I could hear the crowd screaming and jubilating.
This award has paved way for me to win other awards. Thank you Ghana Tertiary Awards for helping students get recognized for their good works and impact on society”
REGINALD NII OKAI LARYEA
I am humbled to be offered the opportunity to address this august gathering is my capacity as the current winner of the Ghana Tertiary Awards - Most Influential SRC President, 2016. Suffice it to to express my profound gratitude to the organizers of this prestigious award.
Counting on the popular saying that a nation which does not honour it's heroes is not dying for, one can not overemphasis the importance of these awards to leaders of tertiary students. The overall effect of this is better leadership for the Ghanaian student. It is on the basis of this that I wish to urge all students leaders across the country to be dedicated in the discharge of your duties as leaders, as contained in the criteria for these awards.
Let me also use this opportunity to make a passionate appeal to the Ministry of Education to consider sponsoring the Ghana Tertiary Awards as it would motivate student leaders to perform better in the discharge of their duties and thus instill great sense of patriotism and nationalism at our level even as students. The future cannot be built for us, but we can be built for the future and I believe this will be a right step towards securing a better and prosperous future for the Ghanaian youth. Finally let me use this opportunity to encourage all student leaders at the various tertiary institutions to put up their maximum best in the discharge of their duties for the betterment of tertiary students in Ghana.
Thank you very much for the opportunity and may the good Lord continue to bless us all.
Long live tertiary education!
Long live Ghana Tertiary Awards!!
Long live Ghana!!!.”
